Hello to everyone, a long time since I've updated here, so just a quick update. Life has been pretty bad over the last 12 months with increasingly sad happenings and loss, culminating in the current Covid19 pandemic. Ironically, that is giving me some time to catch up and come to terms with some of the life changes that have happened : in order of happening: Splitting up with my g/f, losing our dog to old age, losing my father to old age and all through dealing with anxiety and depression. So not a good 12 months, and obviously a lot more than I'm going into detail over. On the plus side, I am making progress on tidying up an epic amount that needs to be cleared but there's a light at the end of this very dark tunnel, a very solitary light but maybe that will be brighter once I'm on top of organising everything and planning ahead as I am trying to be positive about what the future might bring. Right now, it's been a time of clearing and recovering and getting ready to create -

Apologies for the long silence, lots of things have been going well but I have been very busy with work and life so I don't seem to get much time to pop on dA to update - I do miss it and will be back to do more, but I have to prioritise the things that people are asking for like updating my website www.johnahowells.co.uk or finishing commissions.
Life has been good but hectic now I am sharing it, so we are trying to get a reasonable balance but I am trying to be in so many places to do so many things for so many people all at once - the goal this year is to reduce the amount of things waiting to be done so I can enjoy being creative!

An Exhibition!!!!

Thanks to ~fenifire (https://www.deviantart.com/fenifire) for the motivation to actually write a new entry, I should really anyway but am easily distracted, for once with fair cause!
So, About to open a small but well filled exhibition at RHS Rosemoor, a mix of wildlife, flower and landscape pics with the odd ghost too! I'll be there most Tuesdays, Thursdays and Weekends apart from one week, if you would like to come to see me then I'd love to see you, just get in touch if you want to be sure I'll be there!
